About

Jonathan Ricau Attorney at Law

The legal system can seem like a confusing jumble to many people. Don’t worry because that is where I come in. My name is Jonathan Ricau and I started my own practice to provide others with the answers they need to solve their legal problems. I view the law as one big puzzle and I get a sense of accomplishment when I fit the correct pieces together. I currently work for the City of Baton Rouge, and the Parish of East Baton Rouge in the Parish Attorney's Office. While working for the Parish Attorney's Office I have done work in the following divisions: litigation, property, collections, and contracts. Prior to that, I worked as an assistant Public Defender for the 21st Judicial District Court in Amite, Louisiana. While in law school, I interned at several law firms which focused on everything from wills and successions, to maritime law and toxic torts. I have the knowledge, experience, and drive to succeed in helping you resolve your legal matters.
